Pervasive gaming
Iperg - Integrated project on Pervasive Gaming - is a EU supported project for the developing and design of new kinds of mobile games. Pervasive Gaming is a groundbreaking type of computer based games which use mobile technology and sensors for positioning and communication.
1. The participants play the game out in the real life instead of in front of a computer screen. Technology provides the possibilities of unique gaming experiences.
2. If the player as an example is approaching a important geographic position in the game, he or she can be warned with a special sound in the earphones ...
3. ... or with vibrations in a wrist band. Bluetooth, GPS, Cellphone and PDA are often used in the games.
4. Other types of equipment can be pulse, light or sound measuring devices. The variations are more or less unlimited. Some games can last a longer time, spanning over several months and may in that way become a part of the competitors normal day's routine.



Material: Interview over the phone with a contact person at the company.
Tools
: Illustrator to define the outlines. After that the work was moved to Photoshop for colouring, structures and shadows.
