DTN – Delay Tolerant Networking:
1. A strong enough antenna is erected as far out in the terrain as possible.
2. When Adam is within the antenna's area he is able to surf the web and check and send his mail with a wireless computer (PDA, cellphone etc).
3. Hidden to Adam, the DTN software is also downloading e-mails for Burt and Cecilia.
4. When Adam is passing a solar powered WLAN station (Wireless Local Area Network) in the terrain, Burt's and Cecilia's e-mails are being copied to the station.
5. When Burt passes Adam, DTN will copy the hidden e-mails to Burt's unit. The e-mails will be spread in the same manner to other WLAN stations. Delivered e-mails are erased when the station has received confirmation on the delivery.
6. The WLAN stations will also be updated on a daily basis as aircrafts with DTN equipment passes within receiving distance. In that way, both in and out going e-mail can be handled several times a day.
